Opera Prima is a contemporary niche perfume house and a creative playground.

Opera Prima stands for the beauty of imperfections: raw corners, untouched nature, exposed structure, technical details from behind the scenes.

As it is, messy, pure, artistic.

Each fragrance is a complex olfactory composition. They are whimsical, eccentric, sometimes dramatic and always expressive of the physical and emotional worlds we live in. They are nebulous, never perceived the same way.

Bottles are carefully designed artifacts — unique objects to collect. Each cap is made by hand with murano glass. Each cap is one of a kind with its unique shape and pattern.

Perfume packaging is very practical. It delivers essential product information at a glance and keeps the fragile bottle safe during transportation, while playing the key role of a tactile pleasure and an additional medium to convey perfume storytelling through touch and sight. 

Each bottle comes with the impression map, a olded paper, where the front lists ingredients and traditional perfume notes, and the back describes perfume through associations and keywords. There is no order or hierarchy, just a free flow of ones mind.

As nebulous as the scent itself, never perceived the same way by different noses.

 No right or wrong.


Discovery

Gli anni che ho dedicato ai profumi sono stati un lungo esercizio d’apprendimento, talvolta difficile ma ha permesso al mio corpo di attraversare il passato il presente ed il futuro e di arrivare in un tempo indefinito.

Mi ha permesso di rallentare e di annullare i secondi i minuti gli anni ed i secoli.In questo tempo indefinito si è palesata la capacità di vedere vita dove altri vedono apparenza.Il processo creativo a questo punto è diventato un esercizio filosofico libero, il tropismo si è impossessato di me prendendo una forma precisa.

Forse non c’è attività umana più libera della filosofia, libera le idee, le confonde, le mischia, le mette in discussione senza limiti.Un profumo è sicuramente tutto questo, è libertà di vita, è filosofia molecolare.

Non importa se componiamo oli e li stendiamo sulla pelle, perché il vero significato è che abbiamo trovato in esso la nostra casa libera dello spirito.
Questa potenza è la conseguenza che il profumo ha nella nostra vita. Lo utilizziamo tutti senza distinzione di genere, classe sociale, etnie.

E’ un cavallo di Troia e nel profumo io trovo una coincidenza magica tra arte vita libertà filosofia e tempo.
